Bad Reviews

Of the hundreds of satisfied customers we have created at Pro Autobody, very few put reviews online. So far only a few people have put bad reviews online and I feel there should be some explaination.

Bad Review - Rude People will never be
happy even with high quality work.

On July 27, 2010 Mr L brought his Black Dodge pick up-truck to Pro Autobody, he had a year old discounted estimate that I honored even thought it was out of date. He stated that he had taken his truck to a shade tree body man's house for work and that they did a terrible job.

I personally drove the shuttle van and Mr L home. During the drive I explained that I had closed my big shop, brought my best employees to my friends shop, partnered with him to ensure my old employees work on all my cars, I do all parts purchasing and final detail and QA. myself. In a sense only the paint shop has moved.

After a few weeks after completion of the paint job, Mr L called and said there was a problem, I told him I need to see it and let my painter determine the cause and how to best fix it. The roof and top of right door was bubbling and the clear coat was not adhering properly.

Mr L left his truck for me to determine the paint problem. He told me his truck had a mechanical issue and won't start cold. Well it got worse. Pro Autobody wasted hours trying to start his truck, removed the battery to recharge it twice, one day we couldn't even move it.

From the very day Mr L left his truck for paint problem, he was impatient and did not understand that you cannot rush paint. I stated that we had to first find out why the paint had a problem and I could not rush through it. He refused to accept my explaination and began to personally insult me and my business. So much so that I could not carry on a conversation with Mr. L without him verbally abusing me with every call. I just left messages.

The cause of the problem was traced back to the shade tree body shop he went to previously, who it appears sprayed chemicals on the roof. Unfortunalty for Mr. L, Pro Autobody offers no warranty on work done by other shops or people. Fortunatly for Mr. L, I repaired it at no charge. Unfortunately for Pro Autobody I got the bad review.

Most people are normal and resonable, but once in a while you get some who will never be satisfied, period.
